This is an extremely common concern. We inspect the bathroom carefully before work begins, but some concealed conditions can’t be seen until demolition. We always review expectations and likely costs and remediation options before we ever sign a contract. If we uncover damage or unsafe work, we’ll show you what we found, explain the available solutions, and provide pricing before completing the additional work. Mold, rot, or water damage remediation generally adds 1-2 extra days to the project timeline.

Yes, but tub-to-shower conversions are not automatically included in the standard Bathroom Renewal package. Showers require a larger drain than bathtubs, and the existing plumbing must be evaluated and likely modified before we can proceed, thus adding time and cost to the standard schedule.

Usually not. You can generally remain in your home throughout the project. There will be construction noise, and water may be temporarily shut off during portions of the installation, but we work to minimize disruption and clean the work area at the end of each day.

The bathroom itself will be unavailable while work is underway.
